I'm Mary, a graphite pencil artist, known for creating lifelike and emotive pet portraits of horses, dogs, and cats. My focus is on capturing the unique personality and spirit of each pet. I love to get to know them and their unique characteristics through discussions with owners before I begin to put pencil to paper.
My hand-drawn graphite portraits stand as timeless tributes to beloved animal companions. Each commissioned drawing reflects my dedication to creating quality, realistic animal art that celebrates the bond between pets and their owners.
Alongside pet portraits I create classic equestrian art capturing the beauty of horses and their relationship with each other and with humans.
I have also worked with clients to bring new life to old photographs by recreating them in a beautiful piece of art, including details that have been lost in the original picture and remembering relatives no longer with us.
