How to work with me
Providing everything you need to know about how to commission your own piece of art

STEP 1: Decide on your subject
Decide what type of drawing you want to commission!

For pet portraits find, or take, a good clear picture, ideally in natural daylight showing as much detail as possible.
It is always helpful to supply a couple of extra pictures showing your pet in a different way, perhaps capturing an element in more detail that you want including.

For regeneration of old photographs, alongside the photo to be reproduced, any additional photos of the people included are really helpful.

Step 2: Choose your size
Choose your size and budget!

My standard sizes are set out below. Alternative sizes may be possible so please get in touch to discuss.
5"x5" : One subject £90
A5 : One subject £130
A4 : One subject £180, Two subjects £230
A3 : One subject £300, Two subjects £350, Three subjects £390
A2 : One subject £375, Two subjects £425, Three subjects £465

With the exception of A2, all sizes are delivered mounted but not framed. Postage and packaging is £10 by Royal Mail 24 hour tracked unless personal delivery or collection is feasible.
For A2 artwork delivery methods and presentation can be agreed.

Before starting work on your commission I will arrange to speak to you to learn more about your pet (I love this part) or what you want to achieve from your final commission.
As I progress with your commission I will send regular photos and occasionally videos so you can be involved in the whole process and in the early stages, you can request any necessary changes. Changes cannot be made in the final stages of the process.
Final approval! Get ready to receive your finished commission. Once you have approved your drawing, the final balance is due. Upon payment I will arrange prompt delivery to you.
